Budget bill [fees – document storage fee]

H.E.A. 1001, P.L. 213-2015
Effective: § 257 effective July 1, 2015
Amends IC 33-37-5-20 to require the clerk to collect a document storage fee in all civil, criminal, infraction and ordinance violation actions in the amount of $5 after June 30, 2015 and before July 1, 2017, and in the amount of $2 after June 30, 2017. This legislation also authorizes counties not operating under the State’s automated judicial system to use $3 of the document storage fee collected after June 30, 2015 and before July 1, 2017 for the purposes of the county’s case management system.
