Internet crimes against children fee and fund

The Senate Judiciary Committee heard SB 197 authored by Sen. Crider on internet crimes against children fee and fund. The bill creates a fee ($10) for every felony conviction and fund for internet crimes against children administered by the Indiana State Police.
The Prosecuting Attorneys Council, Indiana State Police and a representative of local law enforcement testified in support of the bill.  The bill passed 9-0.
