The Senate Judiciary Committee heard Sen. Tomes, Sen. Alting, and Sen. Niemeyer’s SB 13 on use of firearms to secure loans. The bill repeals the statute prohibiting the use of a firearm as a security.
The Indiana Pawnbrokers Association testified in support of the bill, which passed 8-0.
