For amend and vote only, the Senate Judiciary Committee heard Sen. Head’s SB 1 on e-liquids. Among the bill’s provisions, it provides that a retailer who fails to verify the age of a person less than 27 years of age and sells the person e-liquids commits a Class C infraction.
The bill was amended with a technical correction, to allow current stock to be sold, directs where permit fees are deposited, and to make it effective upon passage. The amended bill passed 8-1.
