The Senate Judiciary Committee heard Sen. Houchin’s SB 323 on protective orders and wireless service providers. This bill allows a court to include the transfer of wireless telephone numbers and accounts as part of an order for protection.
Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence, AT&T, and Verizon testified in favor of this bill. The bill passed 10-0.
