The Senate Corrections and Criminal Law Committee heard SB 74 on controlled substances authored by Sen. Young. The bill includes Mexedrone within the definition of a “synthetic drug” and adds additional controlled substances to the existing list of depressants, hallucinogens, and opiates classified in Schedule 1.
No testimony was heard on the bill. The bill passed 8-0.
