H.E.A. 1317, P.L. 209
Effective: §8 effective July 1, 2019
Section 8, opts Indiana out of the federal law prohibiting individuals convicted of drug offenses under Ind. Code §35-48 from receiving SNAP assistance if the individual meets specified conditions. Specifies that if the individual violates any terms of the probation, parole, community corrections, or reentry court program, the individual is ineligible for SNAP.
