Effective: July 1, 2018
Provides that if an employer and employee comply with certain employee substance abuse treatment requirements, the employer is not liable in a civil action alleging negligent hiring for negligence of the employee. Provides that in certain civil actions, an employer’s participation in a drug education or addiction treatment program is not admissible as evidence.
