The House Courts & Criminal Code Committee heard Rep. Karickhoff’s HB 1118, allowing the judges of the Howard Circuit and Superior courts to jointly appoint a Howard County magistrate.
Howard Superior Court Judge Douglas Tate and Howard County Prosecutor Mark McCann testified in favor of the bill. It passed 11-0.
