Urging the legislative council to assign to an appropriate interim study committee the task of assessing the laws and policies concerning the adjudication and rehabilitation of juvenile offenders

The Senate Committee on Corrections and Criminal Law heard Sen. Spartz’s SCR 16 requesting an interim study committee to assess the laws and policies concerning the adjudication and rehabilitation of juvenile offenders.
The Indiana Public Defender Council testified in support of the resolution. The resolution passed 7-0.
