Floor amendments: The bill was amended on 2^nd reading to remove substance of the bill and to urge assignment to an appropriate interim study committee the task of studying the issue of whether an individual can be subject to disqualification from eligibility for unemployment benefits because the individual was discharged from employment due to circumstances directly related to the individual’s filing of a petition for a protective order.

SB 27 Punitive damages

Floor amendments: The bill was amended on 2^nd reading to limit punitive damages to $250,000 or three times the amount of compensatory damages. A second amendment divides any punitive damages 75% to the plaintiff and 25% to the Violent Crimes Victims Compensation Fund.

SB 174 Fertility fraud
