- Floor amendments: The bill was amended on 2nd reading to add that a relocating individual is required to file a notice of intent to move with the clerk if the relocation will require the child to transfer to a different school unless the relocating parent has sole legal custody of the child. The bill was also amended to add that a court may order the relocating and nonrelocating parents to participate in mediation or other alternative dispute resolution on its own motion or the request of any party.

- Floor amendments: The bill was amended on 2nd reading to require the custodial parent to file a notice with the court if the 19-year-old will be in secondary school, with proof of the child’s enrollment and expected graduation date. The amendment also allows the court to issue an order, without a hearing, to continue support through the date of graduation if no one objects.
