- Floor amendment: The bill was amended on 2nd reading to add the Level 5 felony of recklessly passing a stopped school bus resulting in death to the list of offenses authorizing an arrest; cross-reference certain definitions; require a superintendent to seek governing body approval to require elementary students to cross a US route or state route upon unloading; and remove the criminal penalty against a driver who does not comply with unloading requirements.
