The Senate Judiciary Committee heard HB 1120 sponsored by Sen. Koch regarding the Judicial Nominating Commission. Rep. Steuerwald presented the bill which permits the election of attorney commission members through electronic means as opposed to mail.
Justin Forkner, Chief Administrative Officer of the Indiana Supreme Court, testified in support of the bill. The bill passed 8-0.
