The House Courts and Criminal Code Committee heard HB 1195 on the duties of the victim services division of ICJI authored by Rep. McNamara. The bill repeals the statutes governing the domestic violence prevention and treatment council and reassigns the council’s duties to the victim services division of ICJI.
Testimony was heard from ICJI’s Executive Director and the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence in support of the bill. The bill passed 12-0.
