Duties of victim services division of ICJI

The House Ways and Means Committee heard HB 1195 on duties of victim services division of Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI) authored by Rep. McNamara. The bill reassigns duties of the ICJI domestic violence prevention and treatment council (council) to the ICJI victim services division. The bill also repeals the provisions that established the council.

The bill passed 17-0 and was recommitted to Ways & Means.
