McNamara, introduced the billwhichreassigns duties to the victim services division of the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI) from the domestic violence prevention and treatment council within the division. The bill repeals the provisions regarding the council within the division.
The Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence testified in support of the bill. The bill passed 7-0 and was recommended to Appropriations.
