On recommitment, the Senate Appropriations Committee heard HB 1195 on duties of victim services division of ICJI sponsored by Sen. Messmer and authored by Rep. McNamara. This bill reassigns duties to the Victim Services Division of the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI) from the domestic violence prevention and treatment council within the division.
This bill was amended to make the language permissive. The amended bill passed 13-0.
