DNA for felony arrestees

The Senate Judiciary Committee heard Sen. Houchin’s SB 322 on submitting DNA for felony arrestees. Possession of a firearm by an illegal alien

The Senate Corrections and Criminal Law Committee heard Sen. M. Young’s SB 344 on possession of a firearm by an illegal alien. Forensic treatment services grants

The Senate Family and Children Services Committee heard Sen. Breaux’s SB 389 allowing forensic treatment services grants to be awarded to juveniles.  Sen. Breaux explained this bill would expand the Recovery Works program to include juveniles as well as adults. Narcotic drugs and naloxone

The Senate Corrections and Criminal Law Committee heard Sen. Raatz’s SB 499 on narcotic drugs and naloxone.
