Pro bono legal services fee

The Senate Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee heard SB 241 on pro bono legal services fee authored by Sen. Boehnlein. The bill changes the sunset provision for pro bono legal service fees from July 1, 2022 to July 1, 2025. Eminent domain by public utilities

The Senate Judiciary Committee heard SB 288 on eminent domain by public utilities authored by Sen. Buchanan. The bill was substantially amended by consent to remove the content of the bill and instead allow the court ordered appraisal to be admitted in as evidence.
